Feeling discriminated and unwelcomed growing up, I am channeling my trauma into my design works, and I aspire to design an equitable space that serves and welcomes everyone. I think my queerness allows for a different set of experiences and empathy that is then reflected in the approach and design of a project, as well as the engagement of the communities we are designing with.
